10,415 Tin Roof Foundation Christmas gift bags are on their way to poor children in Nicaragua. Gift bag items, all provided through corporate and individuals donations, include hygiene items, educational supplies, and a small toy for each child. The gifts will be delivered to children in Nicaragua during the holiday season by representatives of Tin Roof Foundation.

School Auction Nets Tin Roof 2 Containers of School Furniture
Two 40-foot containers of school furniture are on their way to the children of Nicaragua, thanks to a school auction in Hillsboro, Ohio, and the charity of many of the city s inhabitants. What started out as a simple auction by a school that had built new classrooms turned into a heart-warming effort by the city s residents to assist Tin Roof Foundation in providing school furniture for poorest-of-the-poor children in Nicaragua.

Christmas Bags "First Gift Ever" for Many Kids
Tin Roof Foundation volunteers traveled to Nicaragua (all self-funded) to present gift bags to very poor children, December 19-26. It was the culmination of weeks of work and, according to the volunteers, easily the high point of their Christmas season. One mother whose child received a gift told a volunteer that neither she nor anyone in her family "& has ever received a Christmas gift before." More than 6000 gift bags and gifts were distributed, all of which were donated or paid for by special donations.
