Children, Gift Bag Volunteers Share Christmas Joy

Christmas will never be the same for 10,600+ Nicaraguan children who received Christmas gift bags from Tin Roof Foundation volunteers this holiday season -- and neither will the volunteers. For a week in December, volunteers distributed gift bags to children throughout some of the poorest metropolitan and mountain areas of Nicaragua.

School Furniture Bonanza Lands in Nicaragua

They probably don't know it, but nearly 200 Nicaraguan students are now sitting at school desks that that were occupied by students in Hillsboro, Ohio, just one year ago. It all started when Tin Roof Foundation found out that a school in Hillsboro was building a new school and would be auctioning off the classroom furniture it was replacing.
